The title of the book “The Sun Also Rises” was from the Hebrew Bible. The complete sentence was "The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he arose." This was just what Hemingway conveyed in this book. He tried to convince the “Lost Generation” to have hopes to their future. The time after WWI was bad but there were still hopes in the future. Therefore, the sun will also rise even though they had a bad time the day before. It also encouraged people to be optimistic to the future.
